Edmonds
Edmonds is a wonderful community right on the water in the Puget Sound. The downtown is charming with many shops, restaurants and wine bars and is very walkable. It's also home to an Amtrak Station with service to Canada and all of the NW and is where you can catch the Kingston ferry to the Kitsap peninsula and other San Juan Island destinations. It's located west of Interstate 5 between Lynnwood and Shoreline and is about 20 minutes north of Seattle when traffic is light. Spend a day here. You'll love it!
