Bellevue

Bellevue! Located on the east side of Lake Washington and connected directly to Seattle by the longest floating bridge in the world! The Evergreen Point Floating Bridge spans Lake Washington and goes from the Mountlake area (where University of Washington is) to the Medina and Bellevue. It's home to many businesses like Microsoft, T-Mobile, Expedia, Nordstrom and many more. Bellevue has some great older neighborhoods and modern high rise condos right in the middle of downtown. The Bellevue Square Mall has great shopping and fine restaurants and puts on an excellent holiday display.

It's bordered by Kirkland to the North, Redmond and Issaquah to the east and Newcastle and Renton to the south. Interstate 405 runs through the center of downtown and that stretch of freeway can be very busy. Real estate prices are some of the highest on the east side but it's a very convenient place to live with many great amenities.
